More need for teamwork
Reporter: Mr. Lin heard that you go to Europe twice a year. One is to participate in the Frankfurt Expo in September; The second is to participate in the Belgium Expo in January. During this year's exhibition, we specifically inspected several design companies in Europe. Do you think the gap between product design in China's home textile industry and that of foreign countries is widening?
Lin Guofang: We have made rapid progress. After several years of development, the pattern design of domestic home textile enterprises has made great progress. In some places, we even surpass them. We do not lack color and variety, but overall, we feel that there is still a gap between our products and theirs. For example, in terms of grasping popular colors, there are specialized companies in Italy and France that predict and release popular colors. Grasping popular colors requires a lot of customer consumption psychology analysis and market consumption dynamic research. Currently, there is no such design company in China. The home textile industry also needs to consider cultural differences when mastering international popular color trends.
